Brenda was instrumental in developing Kroc Kids, the resident children's theatre company at the Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center in San Diego. She served as Artistic Director for Kroc Kids for 3 years. During her tenure, she produced and directed full-scale productions for casts of 60 children (ages 6-18); developed theatre, dance and music classes; and through volunteer efforts, was highly involved in the community.
Brenda's directing credits include Annie, The Music Man, Disney's 101 Dalmatians, Seussical, Disney's The Jungle Book and Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
Brenda has performed professionally on regional stages in Chicago, San Diego and Los Angeles; and has commercial, print and television credits. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Illinois State University.
Most recently, Brenda was the Workshop Director for Northbrook Theatre's 2008 Babes on Broadway Summer Workshop. |
